WHAT IS THE CHURCH LADS' AND CHURCH GIRLS'BRIGADE?The Church Lads' and Church Girls' Brigade is an organisation for children and young people offering a varied programme of FUN, CHALLENGE and ADVENTURE in a Christian enviroment.
The Brigade is a uniformed organisation and operates in four age groups:
The Martins- 5-7 years
The Young Corp/Y Team- 7-10 years
The Junior Training Corp- 10-13 years
The Senior Corp- 13-21 years
Each age group has its own programme appropriate to that age, backed by a badge scheme. This helps children and young people develop new skills, face new challenges and, most importantly, have fun. In the older age groups, a further aim is to help young people develop their leadership capabilities.
